CHEE Is Back And Better(PHOTOS)

Miss Chidinma Okebalama popularly known as ChiDynma is back and better; she has changed her name from Chidynmma to CHEE, she is one of nigeria’s finest and is popular for her hit single OBIMMO that paved her way to stardom ; known for her signature bold matte red lipstick, chidinma isn’t afraid to be daring
 After the release of the music video to her single Obimmo in 2011, the singer decided to take a break from the music scene to rebrand her self and wait for the perfect moment to return.

“Having the right label or management, working with the right producer and just generally being in the right mindset are critical to having a successful career. I felt I needed to pause and put all the necessary structures in place before I moved on with my career. As life may have it this process has taken close to 2 years” – Chee

 Nevertheless she couldn’t stay far away from the stage and limelight as she continued to grace the stage at many high profile events and weddings including The CAF Awards 2011 – 2013, Eko Atlantic Milestone Celebration in which she performed in the presence of former President Bill Clinton, and most recently, the Mid term dinner for President Goodluck Jonathan’s Transformation Team June 2013. It is based off such performances on such national and international stages that Telecommunication giant Globacom Limited deemed her as a worthy ambassador in May 2013.
She will be officially announcing her return to the music scene with a new single titled “A Nom Ebea” an Igbo phrase, which means “I Am Here”. The single is scheduled for release on Tuesday, July 8th 2013.  The single Produced by LeriQ will be released under Her own imprint, ‘Republic of Chee’.
